U.S. SEC Delays Decision on ARK 21Shares Spot Bitcoin ETF
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission postponed its decision on Tuesday
regarding whether to approve the listing and trading of a spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund by stock analyst
Cathie Wood's Arc Invest and the cryptocurrency investment product company 21Shares US on Cboe Global Markets until August 30.
The delay comes after the market regulator rejected several proposals for ETFs that track bitcoin this year
including those from Grayscale, Fidelity, and NYDIG.
The United States Securities and Exchange Commission has pushed the deadline to approve or disapprove ARK 21Shares’ Bitcoin exchange-traded fund to August 30.
